S & S Valve is a family owned business. The Stanski's have been in the valve business since 1945, offering personal service, experience and dedication to their customers. Service and craftsmanship is their top priority.
Raymond Stanski Sr. joined the Foster Engineering Company, a valve manufacturing corporation, as a helper in 1945. In a short period of time, he was the foreman of the test room and their chief field serviceman. He serviced valves across the Unites States in power plants and on ships. He sailed on the trial runs of almost every ship built on the east coast during World War II.
In 1959 Foster sold out to ITT and moved to Rhode Island. This sale brought about the creation of S & S Valve Service by the Stanski's. Appropriately enough, they started at the bottom - in the basement of the family home. The company quickly moved to new quarters on Route 27, Iselin, NJ.
Raymond Stanski Jr. joined the company in 1968 and began managing the business. In June of 1972 Dave Stanski joined the family business. In June 1999, upon the passing of his brother Ray, Dave took over as manager and CEO of S & S Valve Service.
Today S & S Valve continues to be a family owned business that maintains quality craftsmanship and personal service.
